Content Lab Quick Start Guide: For New Users

Heads Up! If you’re an existing Goldcast customer, refer to this guide for instructions on how to access Content Lab from within Goldcast Studio. 

Content Lab is an AI-powered video repurposing tool that transforms your videos into captivating, snackable clips and attention-grabbing text posts with just a few clicks. 

This guide will show you how to sign up and use all the amazing features of Content Lab so you can become an expert user in no time. Let's get started.

How to sign up for Content Lab

  1. Go to https://admin.goldcast.io/content/auth/signup and click Sign Up.
  2. Create your account by entering your business/work email and a password.
Heads Up! We currently do not support personal emails. 
  1. Once you’ve successfully signed in, you’ll land on the Home tab. This is your Content Lab dashboard. Initially, the dashboard will contain a demo video to help you get started.

  1. Click the Upload File button to upload your video and start editing. To learn more, refer to our guide on How to Upload Videos. 

Navigating Content Lab

Irrespective of whether you’re a video editing pro or this is your first attempt at repurposing content, our super-friendly interface and intuitive workflow will help you get started in no time. 

Once you’re on the Content Lab dashboard:

  1. Click the Show All button on the top right. 

  1. Select the recording you want to edit by scrolling through the list. You can use the search icon to find your recording quickly.
  1. Once you click your preferred recording, you’ll land on this page:

  1. Content Lab automatically generates video clips, social posts, blogs, and emails from your recording. 
  2. You can view and edit these using the appropriate menu on the left sidebar. 
  3. Click the Transcript icon on the left sidebar to view your transcript and create video clips manually.
